As part of the Fertile Ground Festival, Nathaniel and Mary are teaming up with musician Molly Mayo to create a collaboration of physical theater improvisation and original music.

<Something Calico> (Molly Mayo) creates unique performance art through combining original music, absurdist elements, and universal themes. Molly is a multi-disciplinary artist with a background in acting, music, and dance. Her recent off-beat theatrical concerts (piano and voice) have included musical tarot and yodeling.

Mary and Nathaniel are taking the stage again. Alone and together. Come witness 2 solos and a duet. They will be exploring their developing style of combining their 2 favorite practices of Action Theater improvisation and contact improvisation dance. Come be part of the fun! Dreams…mysterious soundscapes…improvised movement explorations…come join us for a student and teacher performance night. Starting with tuning in to sensation, all our improvisations arise from that mind-body connected state, expanding the exploration of what it means to be human. We’ll be at the Seed Movement Studio. Located in the North Coast Seed Studios building, #211. Please be on time as there is a code required for building entry so someone will be downstairs to let you in until showtime. Tickets also available at the door, and if you choose the free ticket type you can donate at arrival.
